Major Disaster Declaration pertaining to additional wildfires in California.
FEMA Declared Disaster in California
On October 16, 2020, FEMA announced a Major Disaster Declaration pertaining to additional wildfires in California, with an incident date of October 6, 2020. No incident end date has been declared at this time.
As of October 16, 2020, seven (7) counties have been identified and designated for Individual Assistance from FEMA.

Requirements in the Following Zip Codes
For conventional and VA loans, the following zip codes are eligible for purchase, and will require either an inspection or appraisal, or Borrower’s Attestation or Veteran’s Certification as noted below. Refer to Chapter 15, Disaster Policy for full requirements.
